still alive
still in bkk. school is moving along. 1.5 hours of private thai lessons three times a week. the hardest part is finding time to really sit down and study but slowly I am speaking and understanding a lot more.
ran down to the mini-mart in my apartment building.
2 1.5 litres of coke.
2 birdy iced coffees. Asia is big on the canned coffees. cheap and tasty. no need for 'bucks.
bag of ice
84 baht. I USD=40 Baht. u do the math.
got quoted on Gizmodo today. pretty cool.

the chicago sbux store i frequent just advertised them today. i tried one. and i am preparing offerings to all the gods and goddesses that the corporate powers that be choose to make this flavor a permanent fixture.

my bad - they advertised and started serving them yesterday. i've already finished my first venti today, in under an hour. *sigh.* must go back to store for second helping. :-)
